The Mozambique Road and Rehabilitation evaluation included a Public Transport User (PTU) Survey implemented in March 2023 in three locations. All three terminals are located within Nampula city, which has a population of nearly 1 million. The sampling unit was individual public transport passengers that boarded the surveyed buses on the MCC-funded road. The sample size is 321 public transportation users.
