MCC’s $536.7 million Cote d’Ivoire Compact (2019-2025) funded the $148.8 million Secondary Education Activity to invest in new education infrastructure, expand and improve teacher training, reduce gender disparities in educational outcomes, and enhance the Government’s information management system. Through these investments, this Activity aims to increase the number of years of education received and improve the acquisition of in-demand basic skills, including reading, math, and soft skills, for lower secondary students.
